Starting in 2011, MacGillivray Freeman Films will launch the world’s largest ocean media campaign, a 10 year, $45-million dollar global initiative called One World One Ocean that includes a 3D IMAX film, a 3D theatrical documentary, a 3D television series, a web series, a social action campaign and advertising campaign—all designed to dramatically reshape the way we think about the ocean and inspire much-needed change.
A far-reaching online and mobile campaign will engage online communities in the film’s issues and inspire individuals to take action. With support from strategic partners in the corporate, non-governmental and legislative worlds, the One World One Ocean campaign will inspire a host of new ocean ambassadors and drive international support for the oceans on a scale never before witnessed. In fact, our dream is that One World One Ocean will create a movement—a movement that ultimately leads to new and better management policies for our oceans.
